2010 CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW - Sat 30th October 2010
Lancefield Park Reserve, Chancey St, Lancefield
The day was forecast to be one of the wettest days in Melbourne's history. The rain started around
10.30am and didn't stop for the rest of the day. Our judges, Mr David Markus (Can), Mr Larry Berg
(USA) and Mr Jeffrey Pepper (USA) did a wonderful job and having 3 judges sped our day up greatly.
Mr David Markus along with his ring steward Anthony Price had to endure the brunt of the weather
and we thank them for their professionlism and their willingness to remain so happy and work
well in awful weather conditions. Thank you also to all our wonderful competitors - we all knew the
day wouldn't be the most enjoyable but all seemed to have a great day splashing around regardless
of the rain! Our thanks also to our other stewards, Muir Colderwood and Matt Norton, our VCA
Rep Lea Cogley and our Ticket Writer Pam Ball - we can't run a show without the help you give.
